Male option?

I don't see why the protagonist has to be exclusively female. Why can't we pick whether we want to be a boy or a girl? Let me be gay for these horrifying men, ffs. (Especially for a game with 'h0m0' in its title.)

Pretty sure it's supposed to resemble an otome anyways. Plus, the only thing necessarily showing the protagonist is female are the high-pitched gasps/voices. I get why it can be annoying, though :/

That or an option to mute the MC's voice lines so we can just pretend, and people don't have to get offended about the game being 'woke' (which, this game is about romancing scary demons/ghosts/monsters so I really don't think anyone has a place to judge for wanting to have a 'neutral' gender option at least).

I mean we do see that she's wearing a skirt at one point but I don't think it would be too difficult to add a pants version of that scene since it's so short.

Otomes have a female MCs, dating sims have a blank canvas. if you don't like it, playing a different game seems like a simple option or just play the game for the sick ass art and game play.

no cuz there is literally no reason for it to be? its a horror game with a language / puzzle component and romance novel undertones. nothing that is exclusive to a female audience.
