Has this game been abandoned?

It looks really fun but i am seeing a ton of negative reviews saying that the game has been abandoned and that it is a buggy mess. is it worth getting, are they still working on it? im looking for something like ace combat infinity and i read this games aircraft count and it seems to fit.

Yes, the game is abandoned, has not been updated for a long time, and there are still some bugs, especially in the first mission of the campaign (you can fix it, just look in the community), there are a lot of mods from the workshop (and also in moddb) where you can add more aircraft, but there may be a few people who still play. For example I used to play, after I made an update on my computer, I am playing Ace Combat 7, but if someone appears to play I am available.

well, im gonna tell you right now im glad i didnt listen to the reviews, this game is amazing! its like the best air combat game i have on pc and im really enjoying the story too

I agree with you, the story is good and has good potential, the problem is that there are few people who invest in this type of genre, and it is difficult to get what the people want. I remember the time when I started to play Ace combat for the first time, very good. And when I heard about the AC that I had released for psp, in this case the joint assault, which had the possibility of a multiplay campaign, it was something that a lot of people were waiting for. But even so, it seems that they did not take it seriously. and I hope they take it into consideration for future releases. The same I can say for Vector Thrust.

yes, coop in these kinda games is something ive wanted for a while. the one time they did it for us was in infinity, and they shut that game down, BS.
