How to farm coins?

Any tips on farming coins on a brand new save? Is there a specific charcter/build that maximizes coin gain?

Just play the game and don't worry about coins.

You only need huge amounts of coins for cosmetic stuff in HoloHouse or some smol increase in the casino. All the stuff you need unlocks by normal gameplay.

if i remember right irys is what people used mainly
greed stamp got nerfed but im sure it still works well
other than that i guess marine would work too since one of her skills makes coins

Go to Holohouse and do coin farming with the fans. It starts a little slow but after you get some gold/platnium fans to farm the passive coin gains are insane. Hundreds of thousands in 10 minutes. I find it much better than active farming because once you get over the starting time investment, it just consistently pays you A LOT forever.

marine is good for making money

Recent patch nerfed Greed Stamp and Marine, but Marine + Greed Stamp is still the best option at the moment.

Risu is good for it. Her main weapon hits a ridiculous number of times, making the greed stamp very effective.

Get Risu, greed stamp, super chatto time, and halu, then even easy stages will give a good yield. And of course make sure your coin farmers are set up at the house, they'll keep farming while you play.

Reine is great for coins too, her special basically beats people up for their lunch money (spawns coins on hit, 5 uses per charge)

One thing you can do to increase your income on non-farming runs is limiting your weapons and passives. If you have a solo weapon, or enough for one collab and a good one-slot like EN's Curse, you'll get about 500 gold per chest and you can take more gold at level-up if you're feeling saucy. Also makes it more fun to rely on individual girl's special tools

That said, all the old strats rely on hitting a lot to activate Greed stamp, and obviously since it's a weapon stamp, solo runs or as close as you can get help. And you might as well cycle between the girls because you'll want to Oshi them all eventually and farming as one girl can be pretty miserable

Marine and Reine have abilities that actively produce money. (Pekora technically as well but it's more luck based and not as efficient).

Before 0.7 Azki was the resident gold farmer but with the nerfs to Greed stamp I'd recon Marine is the top dog now, Reine a good alternative I guess.

Doesn't matter, you will eventually replace them all at Lvl 4 management anyways,

The ideal setup is to get fans that have max lvl 50, and after that (if you want) replace them for some that need less expensive food to maintain stamina (some people just copy their save at lvl 49 and re-roll the food that way)

The true perfection is max level 50 and initial efficiency 10 at the same time. But the chance of getting both is really low.

And the best part is... you can HOLD it, and charge up her special again, so if you are patient you get 10 hits in a row! Combine that with a high pop area and Super Chatto Time...
