As far as a strategy, I'd maybe try to limit your weapon slots to main weapon+2, play a defense/heal character like Watame, Danchou, or Fauna, and aim for the Jingisukan super collab, full meal, nurse horn, breastplate, stuff like that. For characters like them, going all-in on defense will bring offense with it.
e: and yeah, there's also the Holohouse stuff like the food and prisms, as said above
Meta upgrades are maxed and I had -2 weapons for PekoRin attempts.
No prism crafted yet.
I usually select 1 defensive item, 1 healing item and 3-4 offensive items (3 if I find Kusogaki Shackles early enough) and this still works for stage 5.
Feather is a waste unless you get super feather from a box. Take headphones or plushie instead.
1. Don't go too far north. Once the ships spawn they do not spawn again. Take it as an invisible wall. I assume the same goes with too far south. They are spawns on the map they are NOT random projectiles
2. Halu I think will spawn more ships as well
After doing these 2 steps I actually found my health never went below 90% for an entire run.
