Welp, before Hololive, Fuwamoco's past lives were two sisters who virtually toured you around Japan in a visual novel. Eventually, they became popular enough that they became actual VTubers themselves, but the game publisher who made that VN being a game publisher (and not a VTuber agency) didn't really know what to do with them besides promote the VN, and so those two sisters eventually graduated from VTubing activities. And then Hololive/YAGOO gave them a second chance, reincarnating into the dog-girl sisters Ruffians now know and love. (BTW, you can find some Ruffians on the review section of that visual novel. Go! Go!)

Gura, because too much of her will disturb the natural order of the world, so unfortunately to balance things out she must go back to Atlantis and hide for weeks on end otherwise a black hole will open up and consume all life as we know it. Scientists could not figure out the connection between the COVID lockdown and the phenomenon known as "the Goomba" but now it all makes sense now. She will only reappear in a time of need.... but undeserved.

Welp, with Advent and ReGLOSS being out for some time now, time for a little update:

- I finally fell for the (mostly) wholesome adorable cuteness and antics of the Abyssgard (Fuwamoco) twins. And I'm not even a dog person! (Korone scares me.) Also got interested in the VN that their past lives starred in. (Go! Go! Nippon!, BTW, which is available on Steam with a couple of DLC updates.)
- On the ReGLOSS front, I'm intrigued by Juufuutei Raden. Mainly with how she openly gambles (on hold--hopefully indefinite), drinks and smokes (though she's willing to quit "cold turkey" for her oshi, Aki Rosenthal) but also her character design and personality in general. It doesn't help that she has similar hair colors to Advent's Shiori Novella and also exudes that "I can fix her" aura. EDIT: And did I mention her laugh is eerily similar to Pekora's?!
- Ichijou Ririka also piqued my interest, being a rich gyaru who's also an otaku and has her fair share of dorky moments (kinda like My Dress-Up Darling's Kitagawa Marin). And that debut stream where she's apparently tied up raised some eyebrows.

And I haven't mentioned this before, but I appreciate Ollie for her boundless energy and humanity (despite being undead); Reine's entertaining HoloCure streams (including one completely cursed challenge run that made her go "Anjing!" a number of times); and Zeta for her cute voice, nice character design and mischievous(?) personality.

Hope to one day make a full list of what I like about the diverse talents of Hololive and Holostars.

In-game: Aki. I feel obligated to watch more of her clips now that I've had insane amounts of fun zapping things with her hair lasers. Like, I have to support her even harder now.

EN: Gura. Look, okay, I know she doesn't stream. But when she did stream, it was awesome. She's very cute and talented and I miss her so much, okay? ......I don't really watch many EN holos tbh........ (I have others I prefer (Phase/Idol/indies))

JP: Matsuri. I watch quite a bit of JP. I tried listing the other girls I like but then it became nearly half of the cast ;-;;;;;;;;. Anyways, she's so real. She's a fellow degenerate and doesn't feel like she's playing a character, she's just some woman behind an animated avatar. Feels even more real when the avatar is just some girl who is human.

ID: Reine. I don't really watch her as much as I should, but sometimes it's really hard to watch her because she'll upload like 10 streams of a game I really want to play all the way through myself before watching anyone else play it. I like it when she sings though :]

Stars JP: Roberu. I like seeing how much I've progressed in learning Japanese by clicking on a random stream and seeing how much of it I can understand without pausing to look up a word. Last time I did this I was at about 50% understanding. It's been going quite well ^_^

Stars EN: Vesper. Ugh. Dude. Man. Bro. The only vtuber where I could put on their zatsus in the background and do something else (drawing, gaming). He was literally just some guy (and I love that in a man). He's like my Matsuri of Stars EN (or was <///3333)
