you're extremely correct, but it still hits
It's the interactions, the on-stream friendships, the collabs, the atmosphere. Even though you'll still be able to see "Fauna" again soon, it won't be completely the same.
Even if Cover changes the rules and allows for collabs with former members on good terms, it'll be kinda weird (at least at first) because they'll need to low-key pretend that the person isn't Fauna/Ame/Aqua/whoever even though they know and we know and everyone knows.
Honestly if that happens the best way to handle it will probably have them say "To everyone asking questions, the answers are: yes she is, and yes her name is Lemonleaf/Dooby/whatever. Now let's play [current fad two-player game]."
Kinda sad I had to miss the graduation stream live, but considering YouTube's sheer ens**ttification of the live stream viewing experience recently, it might be frustrating for me to watch live--on top of the sadness of Fauna's farewell. (And that's even if I watched on Fauna's YouTube channel, what more if I watch on Holodex?)
So thank goodness it was archived. (Interrogative: Highest live viewer count for the stream?)
I already feel like Captain Crosby sleeping through D-Day... (Yeah, started a Masters of the Air binge watch yesterday and through the wee hours of Jan. 4, in between sudden ADHD breaks. Only reached up to episode 4, though.)
Anyway, down to business (and pardon the slight thread hijack):
BTW, out of the former Members-only streams that were made available, there is one that became unavailable. What's that about? (Hopefully not a self-dox moment, in which case I can understand.) Also, I hope someone does datahoard Fauna's Members-only ASMRs in case YouTube's moderation algorithm is being a little dips**t and targeting ASMR content again... 💢💢
EDIT: UUUUUUUUUU... (Not sure if I wanna use the crying emoji.)
You're spot on my friend. Fauna always brought a certain vibe to the collabs with her personality that just stood apart from the rest of the girls. She was also so damn funny and quick witted, the best yapper. Maybe one day they'll allow indie collabs like that, but until i will enjoy some lemonleaf and think fondly of the memories!
Wonder if her old indie name has some baggage*?
(* - Apart from that ASMR role-play of an affectionate girlfriend comforting you through depression that's often memed as "What zero mental health support does to a MF".)
Good looking out my friend, thank you. Never got to experience lemonleaf, so I hope this Nimi Nightmare lady is a true yapper (';
Apparently she has changed from lemonleaf to Nimi Nightmare!! Still excited for our favorite yapper. But I'm just sad we won't see her interact with the rest of the girls for a long while

TL;DR: Apparently, a bunch of Past Lives of current and former Holotalents--plus Maid Mint and Dokibird--are already following her on Twitter/X and vice-versa. Probably more PLs are mentioned in that Reddit thread.
EDIT: I know HoloEN fans might still be reeling from Fauna's departure--and space will be given for those still in mourning--but it's time to prepare for the next scheduled graduation: Sakamata Chloe.
