Cloud Sync Not Working
I don't normally play HoloCure on Steam, I mainly use the itch.io version. After learning how to mess around with my save data, I decided to swap my itch.io save data with my current Steam save data in order to back up my progress. But now that I'm trying to launch it, it's saying that the cloud save/sync isn't working. How do I fix this/what did I do wrong?

What exactly do you mean by "swap my itch.io save data with my current Steam save data"? What files did you move to what folder?

You know the save_n.dat ? I swapped the text of my itch.io save_n with the save_n in Steam HoloCure's files

But... the save_n.dat file isn't in the Steam folder. Or the itch.io folder, for that matter. It's in AppData, and both versions of the game share the same file. If you launch the game on Steam it should read that file and update your progress automatically. Did you copy the save_n.dat file and paste it into the Steam folder? Cause if so, that's where your problem is.

Both versions have the same save location at "...\[User's name]\AppData\Local\HoloCure". You don't have to move them if you are using both on a computer.

If you used Steam version, there should be a "steam_autocloud.vdf" file that synchronizes your process to the cloud. If Steam can't synchronize it, you can backup the save files and install the game again. Then replace the new save files with the backup files and run the game. Steam would ask you if you prefer these save files on your pc or the files on the cloud, just choose whichever you prefer to.
