Best way to farm shark/turtles?

Is ther a specific rod that helps farming those 2 fishes?

Honestly, just use the highest possible rod. Sharks are one of the top tier fish anyway, and while you might not get turtles as often, you'll get a lot of turtles per catch with a top end rod.

What shoudl i do if workers need food that i cant easily get ? Fire and hire new ones?

i've only used golden rod for fish ever since i got it and have never had issues with fish. although i usually get a 100 combo minimum from fishing.

I went to the shop and bought the Material Find option, hell of a lot easier than dealing with rhythm game mechanics. My brain is far too smooth for that stuff.

Workers demand a random food, re-rolling each time they level up, and you want to level them up. Just grit your teeth and feed them expensive fishies.

if folks end up with workers that end up wanting items that are difficult for them to get, they'll just let that one go and try again with a different worker. so that's also an option if you really don't want to try and farm certain items - it's rng so it can potentially be tedious, so i understand it's not a universal solution

1. level up your worker to pre-max level
2. exit the game and make a copy of it's save files
3. return to the game and level up this worker to it's max level
4. if the fav food is fish, exit the game and completely replace current save files with the copied ones
5. repeat 3rd and 4th until the worker get the desired fav food
6. ???
7. profit!

That's a very good idea. Pretty much any food you can grow would be ideal, though honestly by the time you have tier 4 workers at level ~50, I don't think you need money any more anyway.

As long as it's one of the first four tiers of fish/vegetables it's still the ideal foods. As you can get those from casino bags and stockpile thousands. The top tier fish are the worst for sure.

Wish we could just pay to re-roll the food or something else that didn't involve manipulating the save file or starting over with another worker from zero.

Even a single upgrade in the casino costs thrice more than I have now. So no, even when all the workers are fully upgraded, you will most likely need muuuch more coins than you have at that moment.
