New DEV_IS gen Flow Glow was just revealed

I wonder if Kay Yu will stick with debut order for each gen or swap it so that En gens 3+4 and DEV_IS gens 1+2 will be together. It would make more sense that way in terms of having a coherent stage for each update.

If they stick to the plan of debut order, then it would go: 0.7 adds JP gen 3 and 4, 0.8 adds JP gen 5 and 6, 0.9 adds Advent and ReGloss, and 0.10 adds Justice and Flow Glow.

I think swapping ReGloss and Justice makes sense for the sake of coherence, but at the same time it doesn't really seem fair to the ReGloss girls since they've been around longer than Justice.

That being said, Holocure hasn't been following debut order much at all. It started with only the first 2 EN gens after all, and then added Gamers and Gen 0 which both include members that debuted at wildly different times. Plus the first version on Steam added the three ID gens, all of which are more recent than JP gens 3 and 4.

You know that meme image of a haggard guy working in front of a PC? That's probably Kay Yu right now after seeing the new DEV_IS gen.

Character design-wise, I'm liking:

- Kikirara Vivi - Mainly because she reminds me of Blue Archive's Kirara Yozakura[bluearchive.wiki] (a.k.a.: One-half of the "Gehenna Gyarus") who was just recently released on Global. (Still saving Pyros for Shiroko Terror and Tactical Hoshino, though.)
- Rindo Chihaya - Mainly because her "Mama" EDIT: "Papa"* (character designer) also worked on Atelier Ryza. (Thicc thighs save lives.)

Also, Flow Glow has a pretty nice Jeep (Rubicon?):

I think it's better for Kay-Yu to allow time for the newer generations to settle and for the memes and in jokes to mature instead of rushing the new gens into the game.
Even Advent and Justice are still just settling into the company and creating new content weekly that could potentially be their next thing. Like Roara and her jetpacks little organic things like that, which spawn newer funnier injokes.
They do look interesting though and I am wondering how many of this new gen will have multi-lingual abilities. The Dev_IS branch though seem to be pushing for keeping the models human probably to make them easier to market to general public not sure what that will mean for making injokes and meme content on them. Might limit their move sets a little unless they have some unique hobbies/talents.

-Vivi is like some thrice damned amalgamation of Ironmouse and the shuffling remnants of Aloe.
-Isaki looks like Chloe's sister. That's all I got.
-Koganei, damn she tall if that's actual height. Design strikes me as a wee bit on the generic side.
-Mizumiya, her design reminds me of the girl from kawaii Charlotte I believe. That or generic gacha character.

Straight up, the designs for this group strays far too much into "generic, boring, normal" with the exception of "We have Ironmouse at home". I sincerely hope and pray that I'm making a damn fool of myself. Had similar impressions of ReGloss and thank god I was hilariously mistaken. ReGloss has been an absolute treat to watch and listen to.

Going from what little we've been shown, I would suspect Chihaya would use that wretch of hers as the main weapon, and Vivi will have a makeup brush, similar to Iofi's paintbrush. Not sure about the others, and I could be very wrong with my predictions. I'm sure, if this game is still going to be worked on by then, it's going to take at least a year or two before these five are implemented. With or without ReGloss.

Either way, I'm can't wait to play the 0.7 update. It's going to be great.

I suspect he will do them as they debut simply because that will give them more lore to draw from
So probably Regloss and Advent together and give Justice FlowGlow and ID gen4 another year to mature if ID 4 is still incoming

kay will likely let time for the newer gens to get their memes thoroughly set so he has material to work with! and by that time while i doubt he and his team will have gotten all the gens before them i'd assume they would be close so at that point might as well just continue with the debut order!

Huzzah! I'm wrong, these girls are just as unhinged if not more than ReGloss. If videos are to be believed, Yagoo has a few ringers in there. Doesn't much matter to me, they all seem to be having a damn fine experience so far and the interactions all strike me as genuine.
