Holovlie sad: Losing Mel, though at least it wasn't a mess. Nobody wanted her to go, but they knew it was basically necessary. I'm willing to bet if Cover was a US company, they'd have swept it under the rug or something.
Hololive happy: Botan's W in the CR Cup. Also, Gura's return to streaming.
- Yozora Mel's termination:

TL;DR: I wish her well in whatever she wants to do in the future.
- Mafumafu-Mikeneko (a.k.a.: Nazuna/Rushia) drama:
https://steamcommunity.com/app/2420510/discussions/0/7190626612108984031/
TL;DR: Let the Japanese court of law decide (with evidence) this legal matter between Mafumafu and Mikeneko, as the rest of us are just speculating what the real deal is based on a "he said, she said" situation. Also, these two were obviously NOT READY for marriage.
- Selen termination/Dokibird revival (and by extension, vindication for Zaion/Sayu):

TL;DR: Fly high, free bird. (*Epic guitar solo*) Also, Kurosanji is so black, they even overwork independent drama/news VTubers like Depressed Nousagi, parrot4chan, Rima Evenstar, Khyo and FalseEyeD--despite the latter 5 "eating well" this past month. And is "Yacht Boy" gonna pull a General Grievous with Niji EN after previously closing Niji India, Niji Korea and Niji Indonesia? The VTubing world wonders...
Also saddened at the departure of Pomu Rainpuff--especially after seeing a clip of her from an unprivated (and re-privated by Niji EN management) members-only stream talking about missing a "once in a lifetime opportunity" (implied to be the Metal Gear Solid collab that ultimately went to Hololive's Pekora and Calli). And she is one of the few VTubers who played Ace Combat 7 and sung a Shimokawa Mikuni song from Full Metal Panic ("Sore ga, Ai Deshou"), plus had good rapport with Kiara. While Pomu's not my oshi, I still can't help but feel some anger at the sheer callous (if not downright malicious/spiteful) incompetence of Niji EN's "management" (and probably worse if the "Grand Unified Rrat" theory is confirmed). Hope she can return to her PL or start a new life as an indie.

And then there's Wactor (still) rearing its ugly head defending the title of "Worst VTuber Agency"--remember that they doxxed their own talents, plus more graduations at VReverie--they have competent PR compared to Kurosanji, I'll give them that. And I enjoyed sampling Ophelia Midnight's ASMR VODs, so I'm also sad to see her go. Umi Kyoku.
Thank goodness I was able to snag a bottle of Johnnie Walker Double Black as a "self-love" Valentine's present, though that left some of my folks rather cross. And again, saving that bottle of Vat 69 for drinking with a friend. But I digress.
Examples of the former: Dokibird (girl finally got her well-deserved Silver Play Button) and Sayu Sincronisity (85K subscribers, last I looked).
Examples of the latter: VShojo's Matara Kan and Kuro Kurenai. Formerly Niji EN's Nina Kosaka and Mysta Rias.
Also proves that VTuber fans love the talent.
There are still some Niji EN talents that are personally still worth watching (Scarle Yonaguni, Victoria Brightshield--seeing Pomu graduate and Selen's termination must've been hard for her), though at this point I doubt Nijisanji/Anycolor will be able to shake off the stigma of being a "black company". Hope the more worthwhile Niji EN talents have an exit plan.
The only problem with blanket unsubscribing is that some Niji EN talents who aren't part of the so-called "Niji EN Clique" or had nothing to do with what happened to Selen can and will get caught in the crossfire of losing subscribers. Though I don't blame the ex-subscribers for unsubscribing to talents that are still worth watching (especially if they don't know whether the talent/s in question is/are part of the Niji EN Clique or not), it's still painful for some talents who see VTubing as a livelihood. Remember that Pomu once had a s**tty real-world job that chat practically begged her to quit and eventually she was able to get by as a full-time VTuber after leaving that job. Which makes her graduation that much sadder.
That being said, there are some Niji EN talents who are problematic for various reasons and don't deserve the publicity (except, perhaps, the exposure of why they are problematic).
The Holo ID characters that I've managed to play so far in 0.6 proved to be fun in their own way (or at least require a different way of thinking/playing), which honestly makes them a tough act to follow. I hope JP Gens 3 and 4 will be just as fun to play, if not more so.
Anticipating Pekora to have a bonus damage passive for the Holo Bomb and related Collabs, Marine to be a Greed Queen with some slight charm (Will her main weapon be a cutlass or musket pistol? Also her ult involving her pirate ship?), Noel to have no movement penalties + extra collision damage with the regular Breastplate (and have her trusty mace as her main weapon), and Flare to use multi-shot Fire Arrows (basically combine the Diablo II Amazon's Multiple Shot and Fire/Exploding/Immolation Arrows--also a reference to her bout of pyromania in Minecraft).
Also, as soon as I pull Coco (and rank her up via dupes--assuming no major changes to the game's Fandom system), I'm getting her to Gachikoi and try to clear the Hard Stages (probably including Stage 4 Hard). Curious about Kanata and Towa's playstyles as well.
In regards to Holocure and the new game, I'm excited for Polka. I haven't seen much translated from her but she seems like such a wonderful person, and this game tends to give context on the talents that I wouldn't likely find otherwise
