Make sure you do not have the hammer upgrade in shop or else you will always pass +! to +2. Credit card and blacksmith hairband helps spawn anvils and makes more attempts

just as the achievement name said, this is really luck-based. i mean 90% success chance (assuming you don't buy success chance upgrade from shop) but you need it to fail?

Stage 1 no item/weapon, or a slot for credit card/blacksmith, spam upgrades on main weapon, you'll eventually get it.

There is no strategy. You just enchant things, and eventually you'll fail.

You have to avoid (or refund) getting the shop upgrade that makes it more likely to succeed, since that makes the failure for the achievement impossible.

If you absolutely, positively must get it ASAP, you just need to give yourself more chances to enchant things.

I got it in my third run lol, best hint is to refund all the anvil upgrades, then play until you get it.

Make sure you refunded the upgrade points in the shop, upgrade all your weapons at every anvil, and just... keep trying. Probably took me eight or nine runs to make this happen.

speaking of achievements, dunno why I noticed this now, but they have unique sprites when you unlock them ingame, but on the steam they just have the game logo, Legit would be neat if the steam ones also had the sprites from the ingame versions (similar to pizza tower)

You get it by failing to enchant a weapon. I know, weird.

I just got this achievement by failing with a 96% chance of success. I would have been really annoyed, but instead it was a fun moment thanks to the achievement! I just hope that doesn't happen again...
