Halu Question

I see a lot of threads mentioning Halu level 5 but I'm not sure what it is.

I got it to level 5 just now and everything definitely seemed harder but what exactly does it do at level 5?

halu increase the amount of enemies that spawn in the waves of enemies, which also means more chances for exp, anvils, coin drops and the like assuming you can kill them. but it also increases the stats of enemies, like how much damage they deal, their hp and speed.

Yeah it basically makes the run harder by spawning more enemies and buffing them up. As a consequence of this if you can handle it you can level up faster, gain more coins if you're doing a coin farm run and you get a bonus amount of coins at the end of the run.

Condering Lv4 Halu gives enemies a 33% stat buff, I think it stands to reason to assume Lv5 is around a 50% stat buff, in additional to apparently giving you a HoloCoin per mob kill (According to the Holocure Wiki)

Needless to say, unless you are so swole that enemies barely get to appear on screen, Halu starting from Lv3, nevermind Lv5, is probably a VERY bad idea lmao

Some character runs are easier with more enemies because the EXP scaling, the extra anvils, the higher chance to get stickers, all make your scaling grow super hard. But if your base stats/character aren't super great, Halu can get you killed because +30% HP enemies with +30% movespeed that do +30% extra damage can lead to you be overwhelmed on Stage 4 or Stage 3 Hard.

I would suggest always maxing marketing in the Shop tree to get +5 spawns for all characters though.
