I tried 5x with Sana and got nowhere. I tried 5x with Anya and consistently got to the 10:00 boss, but couldn't beat him because he wasn't affected by knockback. I won the first time I tried Fauna and I didn't even get Limiter. Here's what I ended up with by the end of it. Every weapon and item I max leveled

Leaf, Wamy Water, Spider Food, BL Book, Sausage, X Potato
Nerd Glasses, Knightly Milk, Healing Horn, Full Meal, Research Jacket, Holocard

I didn't want the Potato or Holocard, I got those in boss crates. I also got pretty lucky in that the first two boss crates were 3x items.

I did it with Anya and got no issues with her. Probably you builded her the wrong items.

Well, Anya actually is not really good choice for that achievement, because her passive massively decreasing your damage output. You lose 70% (!!!) of your DPS when her passive reaches max stacks.

A lot of really poor choices too. Use the character who can collect experience outside of own range (Ina, Sora, Sana, etc.) and forget about Nerd Glasses and Research Jacket. Knightly Milk is also not really needed since your character must not suffers from low collecting range. Holocard obviously completely useless here.

Just Bandage and Membership must have for you. Forget about losing coins because of the Membership, you are NOT farming here, you trying to get the achievement. Body Pillow, Headphones and Breastplate is also really useful for more survivability. Kusogaki Shackles + [Gorilla's Paw / Injection Type Asacoco / Face Mask / Candy Kingdom Sweets] for DPS. Also Beetle is acceptable choice if some of your character passive skills have high DPS potential (Fauna for example).

You can just refuse to take unwanted weapon or item. It's better to lose some free items than ruin your build.

I don't agree the she is not good for that achivement, is was a literally breeze and even enjeyed the run, at least for me.
But i also agree that Kay could change her to make her better, since is kinda akward to make full use of her passives in some cases.

I gachikoi'd every character in the game and personally for me Anya was most uncomfortable one just because you need to constantly moving to avoid stacking of her passive.

On higher difficult stages it can become a deadly trap. If too lazy you becomes surrounded by tons of slowed enemies that you can't clear fast enough due to your massively reduced damage. You survive only because of large amount of passive healing. Then one move, you lost this healing and all of the enemies just erase you.

Same here.

With Anya you want to nap much as possible and move only to pick up important stuff (when not doing the related achivment).

By the way, we are speaking about the "couch potato" achivment, you don't need to do it on all stages, so we are getting out of contest.
I already said that she would benefit from some changes, meaning she's not the best, but i think there are worst in the roster that can't even made better because that's they are supposed to work.

And that nap makes your DPS terribly low. This is why literally any other character with decent mixed DPS + survivability kit would be better choice. Also, slowed enemies + low DPS = slowed exp income. Furthermore, she simply is unable to collect exp outside of own collecting range which makes her even worse for Couch Potato achievement. So, yeah, considering her abilities kit in complex I'll say that she is far from the optimal choice for this achievement.

Actually, after enough stats upgrading Couch Potato can be completed literally by any character in the game. So, just the fact of pure possibility to complete that achievement by playing her doesn't make her a good choice for this.

False, some char can't attack under themself, meaning that a single enemy that get able to reach you will end the run.

Slow enemis doesn't mean less exp, because there are a spwan limit (modify by halu and shop upgrades) that ignore how much do you kill, is something on the line of "instead to start to level up from min 0:05, you start to level up from min 0:25-0:30"; at the same time i agree the low damage mean less exp, because there are a limit cap on how many enemies can be at a given time, and if you don't kill fast enough, less/none are going to spawn on the next wave: less exp per minute.
Also you forgot that Anya have increased pick up range, that with the shop upgrades you just need to pick 2-3 time the pick up range from levels ups (you don't even need milk or limiter) and you will get all the exp in the kill range.

All this mess to explain my point: You need to do the couch potato achiv only once, the stage dosn't matter, so it can be stage 1 normal, where enemies can be 1 hit killed even with 70% damage reduction, the amount of kill ratio (so the exp gain) is similar to a normal run with the only difference that you start to gain levels some second later compared to other runs (on stage 3 normal 20 min NO HALU i ended around level 70-80).

Obviusly Anya is not the best one, because everybody know the best one is Fauna by a lot, since you can do (and going to do with her very likely) every single achiv with her due how OP she is.

To conclude my point and my discussion:
Is Anya the top 3 best for the couch potato achivment? Yes.
Is Anya strong? No.
Is Anya weak? No.
Wich vote do you give her up to 10? 6.5/10, there are much worst out there, but a buff to her kit should be a necessity.

If you don't like her playstyle or you don't find confortable using her, its fine because nobody can be perfect with the whole roster, and at the end of the day is just viewpoints and preferences.

Wrong, you are not restricted from using other weapons. Also the skills can do this even if the main weapon can't.

Exactly because of spawn limit you will get less exp. Spawn limit means that enemies will stop spawn when this limit reached. When most of basic weapons will not reach farthest enemies, and slowing them down delays the moment they reach attack range. Furthermore, slowing down enemies increasing chance that they will killed outside of collecting range and makes you strongly dependent on rainbow exp drop chance.

Only by 60% from basic value. It's... negligible. Better to choose the character with an ally who will collect exp for you, or simply use Limiter item than rely on this 60%.

Once ONLY if you will able to complete this on the first try, otherwise it will repeating again and again. What exactly mentioned in this comment: https://steamcommunity.com/app/2420510/discussions/0/3824172831329016184/?ctp=3#c7410182519537090063.

Wrong, best one is Sora. She is only one who able to complete Couch Potato on Stage 3 Hard by using only main weapon. Perfect combination of damage, survivability and extended collecting range by her ally.

You literally said that she is mediocre, which obviously makes her not a good choice anyway.

It's not about preferences, it's about efficiency. Someone who have their own personal preferences will not asking which character they should use. It's damn nonsense to asking others about own preferences. So, if such question was asked it's definitely about pure efficiency.

Use Amelia. Her dog can get drop item.

As mentioned earlier Fauna is a good pick, as well as characters with familiars that can pick up exp.
If you use Fauna, the Whisper skill gives you free dodges, and your special gives you invulnerability. You can can boss drops to basically land on you this way.
General Tips:
1. Have max fandom so character skills are unlocked from the start, especially helpful with familiars.
2. Pick up items that increase pick up range, the Limiter and Knightly Milk maxed out give you most of the range you need.
Intra 29/mar./2024 às 23:06
Don't forget to banish Fauna's primary after getting it one level before max. The final upgrade removes your barrier to keep enemies away by throwing them off into Narnia so you don't need it. That and you can probably get a better build faster if you use the shop to remove all weapon slots so you only have primary, then you can just make a tank build. Other option is you could limit your weapon slots to 2 and make the healing food combo (jingi)

Did it with Ame - Bubba collecting all the XP is important to level.

+1 for Jingisukan with Fauna
AOE damage stacks up around like crazy since you are remaining planted (heh) in place.
The healing also procs the Guardian Tree ability.
The +100 HP also combos well with Piki Piki Piman for a big damage boost.
I've used this turtle strat in casual runs too, something satisfying about creating a solid wall with Fauna.
