Even if they're exorbitantly expensive, I don't mind.
When I have five out of 8 workers who want to be fed Tuna, and I fish 254 times and only get 4 Tuna, that's when I decide it would be good if we could buy fish.
EDIT: also great ideas in the OP.
Yeah I know the feeling lol.
I think the issue with being able to buy Fish is it kind of makes Fishing a bit pointless,
since money isn't really hard to get...but Fish are needed for Cooking which is rather
useful, so for accessibility's sake it would be nice. I can't really imagine the Shark selling
it's precious fish though...
I now have 5 workers who want shrimp.
I get about 5 whole shrimp every 100 catches. Not very fun.
If we could be able to switch back and use the first rod, we'd have a 1/3 chance of catching shrimp and tuna. This doesn't seem balanced.
Regarding the Farm, I think we should have more than 8 places to plant food, since you can also wind up with a lot of workers who demand specific veggies.
Ah yeah I think so too, I was just saying that you can equip different Rods that
you've unlocked.
LOL
Thanks, Collector.
No problem, I've had similar things happen to me in other games lol.
It occurs to me: shouldn't the higher-tier rods make it EASIER to catch fish?
And yet, the higher you go in tier, the faster the minigame becomes, and the harder it is to catch fish. It would seem that if you spend 250,000 sand on a rod, it should be easier to catch fish than the cheap rods.
At this rate I figure the Golden Rod will be the speed equivalent of a 50 combo for the second-tier rod, and I won't be able to catch the first cast.
About feeshing
I think the best improvements possible would be with the combo and the inputs
I think flawless catches (aka no misinputs) should get you 2 score to the combo, and maybe perfect catches (aka no misinputs + all Good) should get you 3 score instead
And I think when it comes to the QTE minigame, I think it would be a good change that in the input slider, the game held onto the most urgent input, atleast until the next input overlaps it, then the game gets rid of the overlapped input and counts it as a miss
Higher tier Rods tend to fill up faster and, as Sukaiba pointed out, give greater amounts of fish. For example a yellow exclamation mark takes 3 presses with the Old Rod but only 2 with the Blacksmith Rod. So it balances out. Although it is true that you're more likely to lose your Combo if you're not careful.
It's one of those awkward things where I will likely almost 100% this game, but the 50 fish Combo will remain beyond my skill + patience at something completely outside of the game's core gameplay. >_<
