Is it worth to switch rods?

I got the turkey rod right now,but some workers tend to ask for tuna,shrimp,clown fish,which i rarely catch with this rod.

The fastest way to make money in Holo House is fishing outright.

After getting the 1m cash achievement I caught my first golden fish, an Eel, with the turkey rod. now i dont 'need' the best rod, except to decorate my house with the rest of the golden trophies, but you make a lot of money without golden fish.

Sometimes you need shrimp and the best rods dont catch it as often, so you switch to beginner rod for that, to feed your workers.

i am considering going for all the trophies.

That's pretty much the only reason to change rods. If you're crazy like Reine and are somehow able to maintain focus to keep a 300+ chain going where you're getting a +30 fish bonus on every catch, then that might not be needed since you'll still hook like 30 shrimp/clownfish/tuna on one catch. But for us average folks, it's probably fine to switch rods occasionally.

It's probably a Quality of workers deal not keeping up with how fast you'll get the first few Rods.
When you hit higher quality workers, they ask for things other than the first few fish and plants.

Honestly, I just let my actual game runs gold farm for me, and reached a point where I'd rather fire a worker asking for fish than give them fish I need for the later rods.

I have the most expensive one.
Doing 100 chain you‘ll get lots of every fish.
I think I have something around 300 of every low tier fish while only using golden rod.

Just go for long chains and you’ll be okay. Long chains are also easier the most expensive the rod is.

Yeah if you dont wanna go for huge chains then use the weaker rods to fish up common stuff, while if you do go for huge chains then use your best rod

I mean, if you are going to fish a lot for some reason then sure. It's not a good way to make money, but it is the only way to get rare and golden fish if you are a completionist.
