limiting items to 1 AKA main weapon only, its pretty fun!
is it just me or does limiting item to just 1 makes game easier? is there any particular character that is bad with main weapon only?

currently trying to clear all 4 normal stages with characters using their main weapon only.
then pretty much all tank items for an easier time.

I tried doing this without enabling it and at around 15 minutes I only had weapons to choose on level up lol

Depends on the stamps and the character wep, also you should only need 1 tank item at most, characters like shion benefit from projectile stamp whereas the size stamp is better on someone like calli who has a huge sweep infront already.
More DPS is more better is the general rule i go by.

Zeta seems really rough to do main weapon only, given how narrow it is when she isn't invisible. But admittedly I haven't actually tried it.

In 0.5, the 1-weapon was made ridiculously easy via applying the Solo Stamp, which when maxed added +200% ATK total. Expectedly, it was hit hard with the nerfbat this version. But yes, even now a well-suited Stamp setup can help a lot, and since there's no need to upgrade other weapons, the player will reach the "only stat boosts left" phase of level ups much quicker.

And to know I always use the stamp to upgrade another or just sell it.

I mean, if you don't play 1-weapon it's literally useless the very moment you have a full weapon bar. Much like the Projectile Up Stamp on melee characters...

Some characters weapons have hit-limits that make it much harder to progress late into the game with them

Less an issue of damage and more an issue of actually hitting everything.

Generally a full build outdamages it but single builds give you access to more survival than you could ever get otherwise, which may offset it. Movement Speed and Health are highly inaccessible without quick access to stat upgrades.

The one build that absolutely wins out with weapon-only is greed, because the Greed stamp only applies to the main weapon, and so will do significantly less otherwise.

No, it doesn't make the game easier, there are character who really are in disadvantage if you only play with their main weapon.

Some really close-in characters like Matsuri really struggle when restricted to one weapon. In general characters with a narrow attack cone or radius suffer most, though you can mitigate that with bomb stamp. But if you max out exp and marketing, you're limit breaking and buying Attack +8% and Crit +3% within three minutes even if you take 6 items, so if you can handle the restrictions on your main weapon then it works out, more or less

That said, a good, optimal build will probably outperform running up the numbers solo, solo is just a really efficient no thoughts, head empty method. Oh, and obviously if you're using greed stamp, or any other stamp, they only take effect on main weapon hits, so greed+bomb farming strats are all solo main or use a utility weapon like Wamy Water

You can do this with literally any character and trivialize all content in the game (except Time Mode, of course). Just build tank and healing items and you'll be able to live forever. It's really not that impressive.

I like limiting myself to 2 subweapons, enough for just one collab.
A nice compromise, really.

BL Book + Wamy Water + CEO Tears after the collab = OP af

Really depends on the character. Hard 3 on main weapon only Azki was easier for me than doing it with full kit on Kiara.
