Regarding Skins.

Are those different Outfits vtubers use/used for their persona ? If so do characters that dont have a skin yet get some when the vtuber decides to create one in the future ? Did i get that concept right ?

Wanted a Skin for the Nutty Squirrel but sadly......she has none. T.T Her not having a Skin.....you must be NUTS.

Yes they are all alternate outfits/skins they have used in streams. The only reason Risu and the rest of ID only have their default is because they are a brand new in this update. Most others received an extra skin in this update. When 0.7 releases, Holo ID will get an extra skin.

The outfits in game are outfits the Vtuber have themselves. Those who dont have any yet will probably get some in the next major update. reason they dont have any yet is because those characters came with the most recent release.
The squirrel does have 2-3 other outfits I think? Cant quite remember but probably someone on here can

Are thy just cosmetic or do Skins also have some benefits to them ? I ask before i spend some coin to get them for the characters i currently play.

The characters who don't have skins are the new ones

They will likely get skins in the next release.

What i have seen with the latest updates how it works new added character will not have a outfit instantly but the one where already in the game will get 1 outfit each. So on update 0.7 everyone will get a extra outfit then the new ones in Update 0.7 xD we all have to wait xD

This. The game's update pattern is that every major update adds a new set of characters, and 1 new costume for all existing characters. Next major update should see +1 costume for pretty much everyone in game right now.
