Vampire Survivors vs this?

My first Survivors game is HolOCure since it's free, and i gotta say i like it a lot, it feels very addicting. Is there a point to buying Vampire or can i keep grinding HoloCure? free is the best price ever haha.

I think Vampire Survivors is different enough to play it as well and it's pretty cheap as well.

I bought vampire survivors after starting with holocure and I gotta say I don't really play vampire survivors much. I think it's because i have no attachment to the characters. If you just wanna see numbers go up it can be fun I guess. But I like the music in holocure more.

Both games have similarities, but VS has its own thing going and is different enough for a genuine consideration. VS is also quite cheap, and is actually older than this game. Personally speaking, I would highly recommend VS as well, if you want more of the survivor style of games.

I don't watch Holo, but i like Holocure more because it cuter and unlocking stuffs are wayyy easier than VS. But VS is still a great game, it different enough that i think you should try both games, it so cheap so why not amirite.

vampire survivors is like $4 so sounds like a "why not both" situation to me.

while both have the same genera or gameplay feel, both VS and HC have a variety in content

VS has it's tarot system, eggs, character evolutions, and a sort of plotline played through the game(something something directur)

while HC has it's gacha, character uniques and specials, character strengthening, and other stuff

it's entirely up to you on whether or not you want to try VS, or just keep with holocure, but both ARE still receiving updates

They're both awesome, i haven't kept up with VS after HC first released, i'm a Hololive fan so i like the characters and references and the more unique weapons are cool, but i'm sure VS has tonnes of stuff in it now after all the updates.

Vampire Survivors is really fun too and does a lot of its own things, albeit a bit more simple and straightforward compared HoloCure. Admittingly I've been behind on Vampire Survivors but its new co-op update dropped recently along with the Switch port, which I'm hoping to pick up some day because I had a lot of fun with it too when a friend of mine gifted me the game.

Also, without Vampire Survivors there wouldn't be HoloCure now. I'm not saying this because I think VS invented the genre (which it didn't, I know that) but because seeing the HoloLive talents play VS on stream inspired Kay Yu to make a game in a similar fashion.
I know it's not entirely on topic, but still...

There's a reason VS started the entire genre. It's a very, very good game. I'd say play this one until you get bored, give it a month or two to give it some breathing room, then play VS and its DLC. If you find you like the genre, there's quite a few good games out there at this point that you can look into once you finish up these two.

This is the best bullet heaven game on the market. As for vs its not bad but honestly with the price increase it did I'm no longer sure its worth it. Its not a bad game just not a $5 game.

VS has a lot of things that could surprise you, like they use a lot of well known references. But in terms of game loop and other aspects, imo, games that appear after the first game that make the genre popular are always better. Tho, you could always try the first 2 hours before decided to buy it or refund.
