Best way to make coins in 0.6?
I think greed stamp got nerfed so what's the best way to make coins, does the holo house provide enough income if you put work into it?

Don't want to rain on your parade, but at the moment workers alone can output in the ballpark of 250k every 20 minutes or slightly less actually without the casino points upgrades. While 180k in addition to that is good, you could just play the game normally and still have a good amount of money with less dedication and effort to a process which isn't fun and is also time consuming.

Basically, at the point the game is at, it's faster to just play the game and work on whatever it is you're working(completing each map with each character for example), and money will pour in once you've groomed your workers to max quality and around max their levels. If you have also maxed your fishing, any fish that isn't used into your worker's feeding regiment can be sold and turned into money too. While you are working on casino stuff, they will also keep providing money as long as you can feed them regularly.

You can turn casino points into money too. Knowing that there is a way to idle-play(and winà)the casino using a macro, right now the best money making method would probably be to let your computer run in front of a slot machine with that macro while you sleep.

The Marine + greed stamp nerf occured after I started playing, but honestly, it was a silly nerf as there are still methods to make ridiculous amount of money, one requiring actually no effort and being idle.

Too bad the creator of this game doesn't understand the Vampire Survivors model, and the idea that in games like that, you need to let players break the game and provide easy tools for players to do so if they so choose, because players will do it anyway to bypass anything they don't like.

It wasn't nerfed because it was strong. It was nerfed because it literally crashed the game. It rendered the game unplayable. At least understand why the nerf happened if you're going to criticize it.

That aside, why does Holocure need to share Vampire Survivors' design philosophy? Just because they're in the same genre doesn't mean they need to be designed exactly the same way. Vampire Survivors is not the arbitor of what makes a "Survivors-like" good just because it popularized a genre that already existed for decades.

That's such an entitled and unhealthy perspective to have on game development. That a developer can't have their own vision for their own game and must focus solely on what the players desire from the experience. That they must copy exactly what a similar game does right down to its players experience.

Holocure is not Vampire Survivors. Let Holocure be Holocure. You can play Vampire Survivors instead if you think it's doing something better than Holocure.

And honestly, your claim that games in this genre have to provide easy means to break the game doesn't even hold true when looking at other examples. The last time I played Death Must Die, prior to the latest update, there were certain skills that were basically game winners by themselves if you took them. The playerbase constantly complained about this. The most active threads were ones criticizing how powerful these skills were for their rarities, and theorycrafting changes that would make them more balanced. Being easily broken works for VS, but that doesn't mean that's what everyone wants for every game in the genre.
