Anyone did it without cheat pickaxe? I am ALWAYS getting stuck lacking a single stamina.

I managed it with the Fantastic Hammer (which I think is the "recommended" hammer even though it does not say so on the sign). The big thing to note is you cannot reach either of the far rooms in both left and right caves if your goal is to break the massive boulder in the central room. That way you allocate the keys to just doors that further your progress towards reaching more of the pickaxes to raise your strength.

edit: nevermind, I got the two mines mixed up. Still working through the Expert Mine myself.
