My brother bought this and I tried it to see what the PC version was like before I brought it as I love the HZD games and I noticed that when you press L1 to go back to the previous weapon it never worked it would just always take me to the acid arrows no matter what weapon I had previously used, also, could you sort the mist/fog that has straight lines its so annoying.

Going to be buying this when I get paid next week so hopefully at least the L1 bug would have been fixed by then.

I got it fixed by tweaking level of detail. Switched from high to medium, got 60 FPS, then went back to high and it works fine now.

My cursor was lost half the time when swapping weapons, especially with the ultrawide hud change, it was so bad to navigate lol. This was well needed 👌

I'm not sure if this patch did something about it, but I was testing now, and was getting 8 FPS from a late game cutscene. I was tweaking the graphics options, and when I tweaked level of detail, it fixed the issue, now I'm getting 60 FPS in the same cutscene. It doesn't matter what quality of level of detail, I just switched from high to medium, and then back to high. Done, problem solved (I hope).

WE REMOVE THE FRIEZES:

Deleting 2 files from the root folder of the game:
steamapps\common\Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition

1) dstorage.dll
2) dstoragecore.dll

And voila, there are no friezes in the cut scenes, don't thank me!

I don't know what you guys have, the game is running perfect since release for me. The only bug i've had, was the TAB for weapon wheel.
I can play it in 4K with over 60 FPS even i shouldn't be able to do so with a 4070 TI (the recommended specs say you need a 4080 for that) so the optimizing of this game is really good.

Do you mean the memory leak issue? i really do hope they address this, as i'm facing the same issue as well. i got the significant FPS drop on the same are after 30min to an hour play session without restarting the game. It issue goes away after restarting the game, but i have to restart the game every hour. I'm not sure if this is a 8GB Vram graphic card issue?

Yes it is.
Because i don't get any memory leak even after 5hours.

and what about the FSR3 ? I've stopped my progress in the game to play it when the FSR3 is released.
