Unable to progress Main Mission

I've got 50+ hours in to this game but "The Sea of Sands" missions is broken. No matter what save i load. I've tried everything to get past it, but when the "Find the Red Lights" prompt comes up, i simply can no longer interact with the terminal, leaving me unable to progress the campaign. (Yes, I've exhausted all dialogue options and prompts)

Ticket raised with Nixxes via "Request Support" threat but zero contact :(

You're not supposed to interact with that terminal then.
If there's a bug, it's in the delayed commentary and map hints guiding you towards what you need to do before you can use that terminal.
I've had the same issue and just lingering around that area triggered the objective switch.

You're supposed to go towards the tower at the other end of that chamber before it redirects you back to that console. It's very weird because you start off close to it and if you see it you may try to explore it before it becomes relevant. It doesn't even trigger the quest marker if you go to it because it expects you to 'look around' first.

It isn't since I passed it 2 times.

Go towards to Tideripper (and the door behind it). Aloy will comment about the currents being too much. The quest then updates to search for the terminal and you can interact with it.

Got stuck on that as well, as CharlieMason said, you need to swim to the middle of the room for Aloy to say something about her not being able to get close to the door and need to look for other options. Then the console gets green and you can continue.

I've experienced something similar in my first playthrough attempt. This actually makes me curious as the the issues the first game has when released on PC. I never bought the game until late last year when it went on sale. Still found a bug with one of the merchants not revealing on the map despite standing next to him. This actually happened a few times with other merchants, but they eventually triggered when approached at certain times of the day.

Folks, i honestly appreciate you trying to help, but i promise you, there isn't an inch of that room i haven't explored or swam to. The game won't let me progress. And when i said in my initial comment, I've exhausted all dialogue prompts, i meant it. There's nothing new Aloy says.

I went towards the Tideripper, I've gone as far left as the room allows, as right as the room allows. Nothing triggers the terminal use/interaction - It's bugged and therefore i can't progress the main campaign.

Yeah, as stated i've already heard her say that mate. I've already tried to swim towards the door, she tell's me to look for the red light, i find said "light" and the console is dead for me. Hence the bug.

While i'm happy it worked for you, the post was regarding my personal experience with the game, which is very much, categorically bugged and broken, preventing me from moving forward.

But again.....super chuffed yours worked fine, twice. Really helpful

It's my experience that quite a few Objectives are bugged -- with regard to what you're supposed to do, per the "list" at the left of the screen. There are times where it'll prompt you to do an objective you've already completed, or go after one that isn't quite ready yet sequentially, or if you skip a chunk of the intended objective order (via Sunwing ) it won't register as an objective completed until the whole mission is done.

Unfortunately, without knowing *exactly* what you did up to the point where you're at in the mission, and where you're at now... it's very difficult to recommend a suggestion or prompt you to what you're *supposed* to be doing in the mission -- as it's plausible your "intended" listed objective may actually be incorrect. Or, equally as likely, you're doing something incorrectly/not as precisely as the game wants (not unlike lining up the dang Vista Tower views).

That's because some merchants REQUIRE a trust established before trading.
Most "Capitals" have this first quest complete as I recall.
The 3 salvage contractors also have a first quest before trade requirements.

Fxxx this game. I've been attempting in different ways, searching googles and other walkthroughs, but still cannot activate the console.

Sea Of Sands. When you swim you see the red light, you can swim there but you are supposed to swim towards the hole, its hard to see on PC. But sim towards the really big fish and you should get the prompt you cant get in, and need to use some terminals.
IF you get stopped by strong current, swim more to the LEFT.
