Apex Predators, HELP!

Okay, on regular difficulty I've got nearly all arena challenges done on my own. Save I'm stuck on the final in the regular game, Apex Predators.

I've tried finding some online guides (Arktix), which suggest quick roping the Thunderjaw down. Save I can't seem to pull it off. I run out of stamina before it is tied down, and/or the Scorcher comes over and kicks my ass before I can get it done if I'm trying to chug stamina potions.

I've found a couple areas on the sides of the arena where you can temporarily break line of sight from the machines, but the big issue is that whenever I feel I'm getting the upper hand on one? The other jumps all over me and I can't keep healing fast enough to put one of them down.

Yes I am use the shield valor surge since this is a fixed loadout challenge. More in it for completionist and skill points, I've got enough medals for everything save two outfits, picking up the Nora Thunder Warrior.

Yes Arktix' guides are very helpful most of the times, but his guide about Apex Predators didn't help me either. Then I tried the tactic suggested in another video (iirc from MrFancyPants), which is similar to Arktix competetive guide about it.

In a nutshell: Don't try to rope the Thunderjaw down. Use a well timed and placed smokebomb to get stealth, lay down 4 Elite Purgewater traps near the scorcher (or even better: near both of them). This will (almost) kill the Scorcher, a few explosive bombs should do the rest. Then you "only" have to deal with the Thunderjaw. Try to knock him down and then use fire arrows on his exposed Blaze Canisters.

Note that it may help to reduce the framerate to 30 in Arena fights, as traps are bugged on PC. Reducing the framerate to 30 fixes this (at least for me).
