What downgrade do you mean in this context?
That's true, but it doesn't really affect the boss fight, nor the story.
You will always have allies to fight with you. The side quests only affect who it is.
Wether you have Talana and Aratak with you or Varl and Sona, the fight plays out the same way, as does the story ending. So it's cometic.
thats cool indeed, but to call it a downgrade just on that perspective feels bit mehh to me.
I feel like the devs fell into the trap of thinking that they had to make the game bigger and grander than the first one and ended up just adding stuff because "more = better" right?
