"Probably" pre-load will be supported, but "we don't know" because there has been no announcement. (But it's a big download, and it's also an important title, trolls not withstanding.)

If supported, it will "probably" become available around 24 hours before release.

Yeah considering it'sa bi ggame size wise we likel ywil lge ta preload s ohopefully that'll go up in the next couple of days but nothing's been confirmed.

I've been looking to preload as well since I'm on starlink. But I have a feeling they're going to release it on the actual release date. Which will cause many to have to wait days to actually play the game as some publishers allow you to preload weeks before the release, Does anyone remember how hard it was to download the Witcher 3 patch once they released it. Because so many people were hitting the download server. Shame on Sony if they make us wait..

I don't know about days for me but I can see it taking m eat least 1 full day.As whilst my internet isn't bad necessarily it's not especially fast either. So I am hoping we can preload given it is 150 gb roughly the same size as Forspoken and I do remember that taking a full day t download when playing that.

I won't be – Mesa 24.0.3 has been out for less than a week and 24.0.4 isn't due until around 28/3. Proton updates (specifically, Hotfix) for this game are more likely.

The disk space requirement is listed as 150GB (not “gb”). It'll take a bit less than that – I'm guessing around 100GB to 110GB to be downloaded and around 120GB used.

HZD is listed as requiring 100GB of disk space; the actual installed size is about 72¼GB, and there's about 300MB of local data (save files, Proton-installed files etc.) in …/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/1151640.

Yea i waiting to see if it will be preload or not. If not then i wont bother with pre-purchase i will wait and see how game run and if its day one buy or wait till they fix it.

its coming out in roughly 2 days depends on your time zone and there is no pre-load available and no info either, looks like we have to download all at the same time dear god its prolly not breaking the servers.

TZ makes no difference to the release time; only what that time is locally. I'm assuming 10:00 PDT on 21/03, so 17:00 GMT.
