Combat Tactics

I really enjoy the combat in this game, and many of my fights can swing wildly between me feeling in control, to me screaming "oh s***!! I've just aggroed a nest of rollerball while trying to kite this thunderjaw...".

My current tactics are to use my sharpshot bow to slice off components that I don't want the enemy to use, such as their artillery guns, and then getting in close with my hunter bows and picking up the rest of their weak points while sliding between their attacks.

I only have fire and acid at my disposal on my hunter bows, and my elemental epic warrior bow is far too weak to add any elemental effects onto a thunderjaw.

I'm level 30, have fully unlocked the infiltrator tree, with maxed berzerk blast as my valour perk, and I also switch to radial blast when I want to try shock and finish off lesser enemies.

I really struggle to bring down a thunderjaw, but I could take down a shellsnapper with constant guerrilla tactics, of hit and running away with my sharpshot bow.

What are your favourite weapons and tactics to use on the heavyweight machines?
