blurry face paints in DLC

Since I finished the base game main quest and started the DLC, any face paints I apply to Aloy are just a featureless blur on her face, looking nothing like the merchant's preview. Do any of you know of a fix/workaround for this? I never had this problem in the base game.

Same issue occurred for me but over the whole game. Some Paints just stayed blurry what ever I tried. A few like "Mark of Pride" magically sharpened during a cut-scene and stayed until I changed the Paint again (like "Nora Seeker" and "Nora Death Seeker").
Still don´t know what this is caused by.
