Can't Use Pouches on PC

I had no such problem on my first play-through but this time I can't load ANYTHING to a pouch. It keeps saying "Not enough room in your potion pouch" or whatever pouch I'm trying to work on. I tried emptying ALL the pouches, saved my game, rebooted the computer, verified that all my pouches still showed as empty, and still couldn't add even ONE potion or trap or other tool.

What do you mean 'all my pouches showed as empty'? Did you drink all the potions you currently have on you?

Did you hold "R" to open the Hunter's Kit, then scrolled (Z or X) to any potion recipe you have unlocked? Once you do that, there should be a schematic of how many potions are already in your pouch.

In my game I got the (strange) feeling that it does not depend on the flasks in the pouch, but in your inventory as a whole. If you have a potion capacity of 5 and f.e. 5 stamina potions in your inventory and an empty pouch, you cannot load any other potion than stamina potions into your pouch. I had to drink some stamina potions to be able to load/create health potions. Maybe I'm wrong, I usually forget to use potions, and take just berries, so I seldomly fiddle with it.

You can go into any shelter and allocate how many potions of each you want by interacting with your stash and storing the amount you want in there and taking what you need...

When your potion pouch is maxed, you can carry 9 potions max. I have 4 large health, 4 stamina and 1 cleanse.
