Survey drone bugged.
The drone East of The Gouge and West of The High Point has unobtainable data.
When you finally get it to the ground, it comes down too close to the campfire, so you don't get given any option to search for the drone data.

Try leaving and coming back. There should be an alternate capture point for each drone.

Tried that, and reloading from a save point too. No joy.

I'll try again in another session after I have quit out of the game.

Please try to express yourself more clearly. "No joy" doesn't tell me anything about what actually happened when you tried again.

Exactly that. Same result. It didn't work.

No option given to search the drone data.

This. I almost didn't realize I had gotten every survey drone, because there is no quest reward and the game doesn't tell you.
