How's the performance so far in Burning Shore?

My current specs are R7 5700X3D and 6700xt. I heard that the game is unoptimized on the DLC, wonder if i still can squeeze 60fps lock at high settings with my PC at 1080p.

People say everything is unoptimised all the time. Dlc is fine, just more demanding than the base game.

So I compared to mine: you have the better CPU and I have the better GPU. The only part of the Burning Shores that was really a "problem" for me was the main city. Even then I could still reach comfortable FPS between 60-90. You don't do a lot in the city so it's fine just to walk around. Everywhere else had 120-165. Especially once I put in those frames generators; it's been a while and I forget the name of the option but definitely give those a sniff.

If you can only get 60fps, look into those frame gen settings. That's what I did and it boosted my fps drastically, even on the highest settings.

The DLC is broken in parts and has some glaring issues with certain combinations of quests and, I can see how performance would be effected considering it's Nixxes

DLC is mostly fine save for the main town which has the odd stutter, and the final fight which tanks to about 75fps for me.

Same here. Outside of the main settlement everything is fine. Slows down a bit in that town because it's just more detailed and populated than anywhere else, it seems.

Yeah, it's mainly due to the population density, it's why Dragons Dogma 2 chugs in the first city, for example, but runs fairly well everywhere else.

The main town is super CPU heavy, I could barely do 30fps with my old 3950x, but there's no problem on the 7950x.
I imagine you would be fine with 5700x3d since it has x3d
