FPS drop in some cutscenes and areas
Like the title says, it still have a lot of issues where in the cutscenes and some areas the FPS drop like crazy below 30 FPS or even below 20 FPS

My system:
Intel Core i7 - 12700H 4.7 GHz
NVIDIA RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU 8 GB VRAM TGP 150W
32 GB Dual-Channel DDR5 4800
Win 11
Game stored in SSD NVMe M.2

My settings:
High preset
FPS unlocked
HDR 2560 x 1600 16:10
DLSS Performance
NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency ON

When not in some areas or cutscenes my gameplay is very stable above 70 to 90 FPS even in a lot of machines etc.
The FPS drop only on some cutscenes and certain areas.

Anyone having the same issue? Any suggestions how to make it better or there's no way to fix it other than waiting for the dev to fix it?

There's a bridge In the embassy area where the fps drop for no apparent reason

There seem to be some issues surrounding the 3070 cards and this game. I've seen a lot of people with that card that say similar things with performance.

Guess not much we can do except hoping that dev will fix it or not lol

I don't understand why almost every cutscene suffers FPS drops.

A lot of people says a memory leak is the reason why but I also heard that the game sometimes lose connection with the GPU thinking there's no dedicated GPU in the system or something like that

Whatever the reason is I hope the dev can make it as their priority to fix first other than anything

hi guys,
its because you have 8gb of vram. The high texture and high shadows in this game take a lot of vram. If you want to play on high settings you will need at least 10gb of vram. Therefore you can put your texture and shadows on medium and you will be fine. I have Asus tuf latpop with rtx 3070 and when i placed the above settings as mention, everything was fine. Keep in mind that the ps5 has around of 16gb of shared memory, therefore you can expect the upcoming ps5 titles to pc to behave in the same manor. The devs wont be able to fix that , because unfortunately we don't have enough vram (I know it sounds crazy right?).

just to clarify, setting textures ot high makes no difference. Nor does rivaturner.

You play in Medium?

That's the reason I (using RTX 3070) don't buy this along with my PS5 version.

As far as I can tell, the cutscene is a separate issue.

The in game FPS drop is due to limited VRAM using high or very high texture settings.

In base game, you can play with at least 60 fps in high, but not in very high.

In the DLC, it's better to switch to medium, which looks really not good sometimes.

Everything high except shadows on medium, DLAA with dynamic scaling, fps capped to 66 and it stays there during gameplay. Cutscenes drop fps somewhere around 55. No clue what is going on with DLSS because I can't get stable fps with it even on ultra performance and on the latest DLSS version.

RTX 3060 12GB
5800X3D
32GB DDR4 something RAM
Game installed on a NVME

+1

Noticed that restarting the game fixes the problem. And also that the cut-scene lag appears to cumulative with some cut-scenes causing more of a problem than others.

...So so tired of Beta testing games I've paid for. And it is not the developers fault. It is a systematic problem caused by studio greed. Cyberpunked again...[end rant]

I have found that these settings improved my FPS by 30-70 in cut scenes and ~90FPS:

32:9
Cin. Letterboxing Off
VSynch Off
NVidia Reflex Low Latency On
HDR On
Dyn Res Scal On
Upscale DLSS
Qual Perf
Frame Gen Off

GRAFICS

Text Quaql High
Text Filt 8x Ani
Shad Qual Med
Screen Speed Shadow Off
Ambient Occ Off
Screen Space Refl Off
Level of detail High
Hair/Crowd/Terrain/Water Qual High
Clouds Medium
Translucen High Res
Parallax Off
FOV 25

System:

AMD Ryzen 9 5900X on ASUS TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI)
360mm-Radiator - CORSAIR iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX XT, White - ARGB
64 GB DDR4 3600 MHz (4 x 16 GB) - CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB PRO SL White
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 - GIGABYTE GAMING OC
M.2 SSD: 4 TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 - WD_BLACK SN850X
M.2 SSD: 2 TB M.2 - Lexar NM610PRO
M.2 SSD: 4 TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 - fanxiang S880 4TB NVMe on GRAUGEAR M.2 PCIe 4.0 card
SSD: 1 TB Silicon Power Ace A55
SSD: 1 TB Samsung Evo 850
Power Supply: 850 Watt - GIGABYTE P850G
Case: Thermaltake View 200 TG ARGB black (ATX)
OS: Windows 11 Pro

I had 30 or less FPS whith a higher config in cut scenes at certain times in the day or maybe the computer load.

You may disable a few more options with a 3070Ti in order to get a "nice" performance.

Nvidia is crippling its cards by being so cheap in VRAM, I'll be switching to AMD!
