I might also be misremembering the location but it did feel like it was out of place when I first ran into it. It was a huge field, as if you just walked into a flower field in the middle of a desert. lmao

I took those screenshots just minutes before I commented. I thought it was so weird to me that I went & looked around only to find your post. My game was running good with no issues. I thought I was going crazy too honestly lol. Not sure what caused this to happen. I think I'll keep checking back on that spot to see if it has disappeared or is still there.

Where he is in those screenshots are from a slight distance & a bit high up to see a bigger portion of that area. My grass patch also went all the way to about that area.

Also I just checked on the location. The giant patch is gone for me now too! At least now we have the screenshots to show it happened but it's so weird. I don't know what causes this.

That's crazy lmao. the only logical conclusion I can come to, is the shader compiler having a hiccup somewhere that forces it to either spawn or despawn, it's just so massive and out of place I don't know what to make of it. Maybe a stress test during development that wasn't properly removed?

It happened 3 times in my playthrough
#1 time at the Shellsnapper site at north east of StillSands
I thought this is the special place to play hide and seek with the Shellsnapper
#2 time at Salvage camp south of Bleeding Mark
Full camp covered with tall grass, npc stand in it with only head visible, campfire also hide in grass and almost impossible to interactive with. Then I realize something odd happened
#3 time in DLC, entire south area of Fleet's End covered in tall grass

Gods damn lol. That 2nd time at the salvage camp is hilarious. It's gotta be something with the shader then that's having hiccups at certain points of the game.

Just got this bug myself. Even after it reloaded the zone it was still there... This save is super bugged, alot of things bugging out. This is a new game plus, anyone else in NG+?

Is that in the same spot we have our screenshots? For us it's been not too far south of the location Poseidon was at. Haven't finished the game yet so I'm just on the normal game.
