Changing Mount Types

How do I change my land mount type? I have this useless velociraptor type thing, and I'm trying to get my charger to chase lancehorns. Why does this mount even exist? It's weak and slow.

the last machine you overriden is the mount that is going to spawn... there's no way to change it afaik.

I was never into trying combat with a mount, but my impression is that while the Raptor isn't a great riding mount, it does have merit as a combat mount.

the clawstrider may be slow but its also small and agile unlike the bristleback which is fast but also huge and gets stuck on everything

so the clawstrider is the best fighting mount afaik and the charger is the fastest riding mount but is weak in combat.

get the skill to set the machine to aggressive mode when overiding it and the clawstrider becomes a great fighting companion
