heres a picture with my game completion page in the noteobook: https://imgur.com/a/O63naXg
yeah I should have everything, heres a video of me going through the catalogue, you can tell me if im blind https://youtu.be/Doh468Iz3Yc
Datapoints supposedly do the same but there's a visual distinction between ones that you've actually scanned in your current save and ones that you carried over. Unfortunately I don't think the same is true for machines, so in that list of 102 there is one that you scanned previously but that you haven't on your NG+ file. I'd bet it's like a canister burrower or something dumb.
I think this is a massive oversight on Guerrella's part.
I did not think about checking the manual save I created before starting my NG+. I was quickly able to confirm the borrowers thanks to your suggestion.
I'm stuck on leaplashers of all things. Oddly enough the basic leaplashers are not even in the catalogue. I can find the basic and apex variants everywhere I go. I now know I found the 3 canister variants in my first run. I just can't get any of the 3 to spawn so I can confirm that I found them on my second run.
I started verifying my machine catalog last night and I was going to seek out the borrowers last. Aside from that I was going down the list in order and I didn't make it far before getting hung up on these canister leaplashers. The damn things just won't spawn.
I have 99 machines scanned and I cannot get 3 to spawn. I have spent 3 or 4 hours between last night and today going in circles. Nothing but the basic and apex leaplashers. It's so frustrating lol
These things helped me greatly, I hadnt read this anywhere else, so I did exactly what was written here
and it worked out great, thankfully I only had 30 machines scanned on my first playthrough since I just rushed it to get to NG+ for the champion tokens and not wanting to do all of it twice, so it took some searching, I skipped the burrowers for my own sanity and wanted to do those as a last resort so I started going down the list until I saw a (!) pop up in my catalogue and I lost my mind, turns out it was the apex bellowback. now its looking fantastic and I can start burning shores

thanks for the assist guys!
I have now confirmed that I have indeed found all machine variants with the exception of those 3 canister leaplasher variants. After more hours than i'd care to admit at this point they just wont spawn. The site nearest Latopolis never has any machines present, despite dozens of visits now. I'm going to verify my game's installation and check again. If I still can't find them I will submit a bug report. I don't believe I have anyother options at this point.
I found this to be annoying as well with the leaplashers, one of the machines I had scanned in my non NG+ playthrough was an acid leaplasher, but all I could find were leaplashers and apex leaplashers when I scanned them so I was also like wtf where are the elemental ones, and yeah latopolis was also empty for me. anyhow, you have to check the parts to see what kind of leap lasher it is, like one has a blaze canister, the other acid or chillwater, and those are fire, acid or frost in the catalogue. I think its the only machine that doesnt specify its element when you scan it. hope it helps!
Can anyone confirm about the apex grimhorns, even if you don't scan them they show in the machine catalog? I readed it on the horizon wiki about a update that was launched on playstation about that.
