Leveling ghost levels with bonuses
As before, "ghost levels" that have no impact on gameplay allow Aloy to continue gaining experience even after reaching the maximum level. But if the ghost levels could give any, even a small bonus, it would be more satisfying, for example:
1 point to elemental damage resistance (maybe player-selectable).

And removing the level cap or increasing it significantly will encourage you to stay in the game longer.

Just a suggestion - this could be added in the options - for those interested...

What do You think about it?

I got bored at level 50. I wish there was more to level

Some form of prestige levels would be nice. For very minor bonuses. I liked how it was eventually handled in AC: Oddysey. Granted, some of those bonuses were anything but minor. (I mean.. chance to deal stealth dmg on melee hits.. that was a kicker, bop someone on the nose and suddenly they ded)

Here is the thing, the level cap is 60, and that's it.

Not sure why they put this feature in the game, but it is basically bragging levels after 60. Don't think there is a need for additional stats when you level up ghost levels, but some additional goodies would be nice, like maybe getting a recourse cache refilled at the base, like it does after every main quest.

The level cap is 65 I believe not 60. I know this because I was at level 63 when I did the final Singularity Quest

50 for basegame, 60 with DLC, everything else is for those people that need a feeling of progress to play a game instead of just being entertained by it.
I dont give a shoot about hose levels tbh. And no, no benefits needed, it would destroy speedruns for example, as those are usually on NG+ and people with "higher" levels would have an unfair advantage.

Then how was I at level 63 if it only goes up to 60? Watch the video, it clearly shows my level is 63

Here is a short video proving my max level was 65 in my first playthrough and 64 after my second playthrough

Yes, you are at Ghost Level (60)+3 (or higher). I'm Ghost Level (60)+80 = 140 (5th consecutive NG+).

It's merely so that they don't have to remove the "XP" rewards from quests.

Ghost Levels cost 100K XP each and are purely 'cosmetic' (number goes up, but no effect). For internal gameplay purposes, you are still stuck at Level 60.

Yeah stats for spear damage and health are capped. You just keep earning skill points and XP endlessly which have no bearing in terms of available skills once everything is unlocked.

I wish games like this would get rid of levels entirely. It feels so pointless because the enemies just get stronger to match. I'd rather the enemies have fixed strengths, and you get farther in the game by learning to use new tools, moves and strategies to get through each area and enemy type. I think they were onto something here by making many skill points come from completing quests, not just grinding levels.
