Tremendous input lag
I'm running the game in Windows 11, with mouse and keyboard, at 4K resolution, set to Very High in graphics settings, with DLSS turned on and an RTX 3090 graphics card.

The graphics performance is stellar, with plenty of fps and fluid camera movement.

However, it frequently happens that keyboard input lags, both when pressing and lifting a key, meaning Aloy not only takes a while to start moving but she also keeps moving a while after I'm no longer pressing a movement key.

It isn't constant, and I haven't pinpointed what the triggers it, but when it starts happening it doesn't help to restart the game or close other running applications.

I've tried setting the game to run on exclusive fullscreen and disabling Steam Input in the game properties. Didn't help,

Haven't had this issue happen before with any other game, including other Playstation ports, namely Horizon Zero Dawn and God of War, on the same PC.

Most likely a framerate limit issue, weird things happen to people that have it capped at 60.
Also, from my experiences with other gameports (From Software stuff), setting borderless window with resolution equal to display helps too.

Or it could be because of double tap to dodge. Turn that thing off.

i have this problem on a 4080S card, exact same situation, graphics performance is great 1440 max quality. but it seems to me the game starts loading shaders as you move through the world and locks you're control up, i get this constantly with the flying mount making it nearly unplayable, its so extremely frustrating, and its even worse in Burning Shores its driving me absolutely crazy and i can't find a fix for it.

I have a similar problem on a 4060. Every so often after starting the game the keyboard has a huge delay or doesn't work at all. I have to hit ESC over and over to finally get to a menu. The mouse works fine. I also had this problem from time to time in HZD. It's never been an issue with any other games. I swapped out for my corded usb keyboard and still had the same issue. I turned double tap off loooooong ago.

I have the same issue with NVIDIA Geforce RTX 4090, which is a great card for this game, so the issue must be in code or in portation from PlayStation to PC. The graphic is nice, but I noticed a lag on input (keyboard and mouse) at the beginning. Unfortunately, as you progress and you have to fight more advanced machines the lag starts to be enormous and the game is almost unplayable. And making the right combo of pressing the right sequence of keyboard and mouse buttons with a defined pause in fighting pits is practically impossible. I could pass these pits only with very low graphics and on an easy level, and it was not about my abilities but about luck that the game would notice every button I pressed. It is a big unpleasant surprise for me that they are selling this game on PC with such a big issue. Great game, but I am not able to play it anymore ...

Are you enabling Reflex / Reflex + Boost if you are using DLSS? That is a must if you are using upscaling / running DLAA.
