Infos about FSR 3 (3.1) and Frame Generation
"The short version is, we're sort of waiting for FSR 3.1," says Michiel Roza, the Principal Optimization Programmer at Nixxes. "Because we wanted the latest and greatest before integrating it."

FSR 3.1 was announced last month at the annual Games Developer Conference (GDC), with improvements to the upscaler's quality being the most notable change, AMD also has decoupled FSR 3.1 frame generation from the upscaling tech, which allows frame generation to work with other upscaling solutions, such as DLSS or XeSS.

AMD stated that it wouldn't be available for developers until the second quarter of the year.

I am going to add that SONY/NIXXES announced that the first game to implement FSR3.1 will be ratchet and clank rift apart. In fact, that is also the game AMD used as demo to show the huge improvement in the upscaling quality (lots less ghosting and shimmering, which are the main flaws of FSR). I would expect the implementation on HFW to be slightly quicker, as they would already have some experience implementing it in ratchet and clank. I would guess late summer?
It would make sense as younger people are on summer vacation. At the very least before the Christmas/New Year season, so they could "relaunch" the game with the announcement, some patches and maybe even a discount?

You could be right about that. Maybe Nixxes can already do some preparatory work and as soon as fsr 3.1 is released, things will go very quickly. Maybe we'll see 3.1 as early as June.
