Flickering Light on characters (Video)
This is a kind of light flicker i get on characters in and around plainsong.
I have seen the same flicker in a main story cutscene, which is outright scandalous as it indicates noone has tested the main story cutscene for PC.
Anyway, here is the bug shown>

I never saw it before I reached Utaru land. Far as I can tell it happens only with Utaru tribe members, linked to their white body- and face paint.

So yeah, it's a genuine bug. Reasons you didn't see it: Could be tied to settings, probably higher settings (have everything maxed iirc). Could be your eyesight. Lol, kidding. ^^

Anyway...posts like yours always make me wonder. I try to understand what brought you to defend a game nobody really attacked (bugs happen) and then for a bug you never even saw. Strange.
IF it was a "genuine" bug, everyone would have it.
A very small minority apparently experience this. That point more to something specific with the hardware and or system.

I run this game 'maxed out' eg: Very High settings in 4K, DLAA, DLSS Q, Bloom, On.
OFF: Vignette, radial Blur, Chromatic Abomination.

No graphical glitches anywhere.
lmao, a visual glitch that happens for 2 users and can be solved by adjusting settings absolutely doesn't point towards an issue with the hardware or system.
Also, that the glitch is pretty specific in it's appearance and your oblivious mentality towards reason, points out you might still have missed the glitch or had it lessened due to you using DLSS at the moment it could have occured.
And the glitch being specific also immediately rules out any system or hardware issue, at best a driver issue.
Specific visual glitches point to software issues, only randomly natured visual errors and/or crashes or system restarts point to things you say.

Omg...yes dude, you win. The game is perfect. Now hush.

PS: You might wanna check your settings though, DLAA and DLSS cannot run together; one is the better image quality, one is the better performance, but you have to choose. But I guess you're the expert here, so what do I know...

Again a thread full of expert that don't have a clue what DLSS/DLAA is.

DLAA is DLSS with the internal render resolution set to the screen resolution.

DLSS SDK doesn't even have any explicit mention to DLAA. You setup DLAA with exactly the same API calls as when you setup DLSS. The only difference is that the input buffers you pass to DLSS are full screen resolution.

DLSS+DLAA is DLSS with Dynamic resolution scaling ON.

Yes, I know that, but if you have DLAA enabled, DLSS is disabled in the options. You either run the game with DLAA or you run it with DLSS Quality.

You wrote down both. Maybe you got confused because the game does present DLAA when you enable DLSS, though greyed out. No other game does this. But at this point it is not using pure plain DLAA, it is using DLSS.

Plus the fact you put the "Q" behind "DLSS", so I got the impression that you think the quality of DLSS does something when DLAA is actually used. Which it doesn't. All in all, I got the impression you have no clue, is all.

Or may have been a typo, but since you insist on being the guy who wants to be right on everything I just couldn't help myself. Sorry not sorry.

Seems like turning off the "Bloom" has fixed it for me. I also have off depth of field and radial blur.
I also have this white flickering on fog in some directions, when it desappears at start, then I come closer and I get white screen glitch
