I cannot can't call mount anymore

So im up in the game to start the quest The Sea Of Sands, and for the past few hours my mount was marked as red icon, thought its a temprary, but after finishing one main quest and few side quest its still red. Is that a bug or something else?

Usually means ur mount is dead and you have to override a new one.

Or the area can't have a mount....
or.. the game glitched.

Red mount = dead mount, have to override another. Mounts can die out of your sight, not often but it happens.

wrong. Red means unavailable.
