How many hours on your first play through? (Or so far)

I completed my first play through the other day and saw that HFW is my third highest hours in game with 271 hours. I'm sure that's way longer than average for most people's play throughs as I have a slow style...I enjoy immersing myself and exploring and slow traveling and playing the mini-games and things that take more time. Anyway I'm curious about how many hours others have in their first play throughs...maybe also mention if it's completed or if you're still on your first play through along with the hours in your first play through.

Close to 89 hours including the DLC

Currently 103. I've finished the main story, but not started the DLC yet. I'm working on upgrading my purple weapons.

I didn't get to the DLC until I hit the 100 hour mark. By that time I didn't feel like playing any more. I hate story missions mainly because story missions have more parkour.

I am 62 hours in and had only just completed DEMETER in the main story. I mean, yeah, I explore a lot and do side activities but this game feels VASTLY longer than the original was with DLC and I am not even fully through the core plot yet.

I was about to finish my first play through at 170 hours then I deleted my game by accident. The only game save I had left was at 50 hours so I am replaying it again. This game is very long if you like to do all the quests. I did not like parkour at first because I am on Keyboard but I have pretty much become a master at it now.

First playthrough 230 hours on ultra hard including the DLC. So the difficulty makes it longer but I like the challenge and also I take my time exploring everything and finishing it on 100% completion. I'm lvl 87. I will start new game + later.

A little over 100hrs. Inclusive of all side quests, hunting grounds, melee pits, and collectibles.

NG+ playthrough on UH just for main game and some side objectives was about 70hrs.

This was already me taking my time exploring and admiring the scenery.

200 hours, but on Very Hard, and had to stop playing for a few minutes to let my system cool a bit before being able to continue. After the third patch that last was not needed any more. The amount of hours also includes the DLC, and getting all what so ever was to be found. But I skipped the last Melee Pit, the last three Hunting Grounds, and did the Arena on Story instead of Very Hard

134h so far on my first Very Hard playthrough. There has been a bit of dossing around before I progressed into the final MSQ and again before starting BS.
Got 100% on the progression tab for the base game, I'm just finishing stuff off in BS now. Just done Cauldron Theta, and still have 3 Aerial Captures to do.

Definitely not far off starting a NG+ UH.

first i finished all side quest first

now i finished the main quests first for these special tools

About 300 hours I guess... and I don't have the DLC.
(i don't fast travel or sprint past machines, so that's the main reason why) Started it in Very Hard, but it's now set to Hard. (at the part where I need to go to capture the final AI thingy.) Took a while to find the boat... almost resorted to fast travel cause I couldn't find a way off the island. Last left the game at a Hunting Trial that I was getting frustrated at. Umm... that was about a week ago. And about 4 weeks ago I hadn't touched the game in about a year.

...and about 60 hours on an abandoned Ultra Hard first run attempt.

Thanks for all the replies. It’s interesting to see how people can have vastly differing amounts of time for their play throughs. Oh and FWIW my 271 hour play through was partly on Normal then I moved up to Hard for the rest.

Also I didn’t really mention but if it’s not obvious I LOVE this game! It’s definitely among my top five favorites of all time. The game play is great! And the lore…wow…the lore…mind bending! So creative. So…just amazing.

I can’t wait for the sequel.

BTW for those who don’t know the sad news: the actor who plays Sylens died.🥺 I’m curious how they will handle this? His voice is so great and so distinct.

They could do a recast or they could use AI and/or they could minimize his role in future sequels. While Sylens is an ass I do love the character and I hope he continues to have a significant role. I think if they could negotiate with his estate to use a high quality AI facsimile of his voice that might be ideal. Or if they can find an actor who can nail his voice that would be OK too.

at 33 hours on PC and 256hours on PS5 with the current playthrough of ng+

Jumping a bit back and forth since my PC has issues with the game and i need to constantly do integrity checks if i want to play just finished the kulrut already gotten the other 2 sub functions.

Finished off the rest of the stuff and got to 100%, plus grabbed all the Brimshine on the map.
Spent 2 nights killing Apex Bilegut/Waterwings to get a few spare Apex hearts just in case. And finally got my last skill point (seems to be some sort of bug, a reddit thread from 2 years ago suggested repeating the first stage of the Arena and it gave me the final point ><).

140h ish and started on NG+ UH.
