erend dead but still talks?

im in the quest singularity and i came acrost erend in one of the specter sections, fallen but still kicks and throws his arms around. kinda weird it doesnt look like its meant to be like that because he still talks to you

Erend can not die, but is there an icon above him with two spears meaning you need to help revive him?

No, after a battle he would lay there with sparks coming off of him, and there was no option to revive.

thats the worst, id rather it be the other way around, i want to like him but his lines at the singularity were just annoying

I kind of felt bad for Erend after the 'First Forge' quest, but is kind of weird that this bug happens to you with Erend laying on the ground. I did not run in that one myself, mostly he is just asking for help or something so you have to revive him (that also is kind of buggy, because I had to revive an NPC 3 times to make it work)
