Yet another rant about that constant advice

Solving the environmental puzzles and progressing the missions is an affront to gaming due to Alloy's constant advice. Whose bright idea was this immersion-breaking, gaming-destroying nonsense and why? Is this like a thing that's required to raise sales among the stupid kids? (Not that I think that all kids are stupid.) And most importantly, why is there no option to turn that off for people with sanity?

It's just that I wanted to voice this concern.

Yeah and Varl too. I just completed the intro and he constantly kept yapping about me having to do this and me having to do that while I was just running around, enjoying the scenery and collecting ♥♥♥♥. It's really bad too like every 5 seconds there's gonna be a comment from either him or Aloy.

It was already annoying in games like Days Gone or Amnesia Rebirth, but this game ups the intensity of the self-monologue to 11. It's the only thing I don't like until now, but I will bear through it because everything else feels great.

Even with that mod, she still jibber jabbers too much, my only solution so far has been to mute voice and turn off subtitles when ever I'm not doing a main story mission or when I'm in a dialogue scene.

Dude, I'm 46. I've played PC games from their craddle :D Adventures, RPGs, action games, FPSs, what haveya.

I mean, the game in overal doesn't seem half-bad so far but what is to be happy about in this regard. It spoils everything. I want to play a game, come up with solutions, overcome challenges, hone my skills, and not to... watch some movie with gaming elements :/ Oh well...

it is the same reason why social topics here hurt your braincells

Gads, people gotta pick nits no matter what. I'm 71 and enjoy the game immensely, now on NG+#2, and Aloy's hints are quite easy to ignore or, even better for "immersion," give her some lip in return. Or get a mod, Just stop the endless complaining about insignificant stuff.

Voicing the said concern was very well-deserved and it should get even more attention.
