Contract scavenger bug

Anyone have a fix for not being able to complete contract event though everything has been collected?

I'm having the same issue. Hunted the chargers, then scrappers arrived so I killed them and looted their jaws (quest items). Jaws are in my inventory and quest objective is ticked. Quest is now asking me to return to Larend and marks his location on the map. When I try to talk to him however, Aloy is telling him she does not have the jaws yet, despite having all of them in the inventory. I tried saving and loading, restarting the game etc. I even returned to the scrapper's arrival area and their corpses are still there and every time I'm reloading the game I can loot their corpses again and retrieve more jaws. I have 12 of them right now and only 3 are required. Nothing seems to work... I'm 12 hours in the game and no manual saves before that quest. Please help!

I went back to save before the mission and it didn't help. I have 30+ jaw parts with no recognition from Larend.

idk... and don't really remember if he just gives you only one contract to do or has mulltiples that you can activate all at once.

Umm... did you take multiple contracts at once?

....the only thing I can think of trying is selling all the jaws you have and trying the mission again. I didn't run into that problem, though. But then again... I don't have this on PC, either.

It's pretty early into the game, and I can't find anything on google search about your problem. Just brings up this thread.... for the most part (and i can't access Redit on this PC... or ytube to read those.. but they seem to be not really related.).

I figured out the problem. I did not read the contract before doing the mission. Went back in time and did it that way, and without taking multiple contracts at once, now progressing OK.

The reason I asked about multiple contracts is that when you have mulitiples and turn stuff in, Aloy says, "here's the parts you asked for" and doest say anything about any specific contracts... so I thought maybe that could be adding to the confusion of what needs to be done.

Doesn't really help that other guy, though... sounds like he is doing that mission correctly. But I don't recall Aloy saying anything about here are the jaw bones you asked for.. just remember her saying stuff like here are the parts you asked for. So, could be that the jaw mission is complete and aloy is refering to another contract... idk... just guessing.

I mean pretty sure that the completed stuff and this needs to be done stuff are in the same menu, and are just seperated by a line or something.... I think.

You can use cheat engine to fix it, just search for 4 byte of he amount you have in your special inventory, go to the spot and pick up the ones that keep respawning(where u initially killed them) pick up one by one and scan in cheat engine until u find 3 addresses. Edit all of them to 0. then load in a far away campsite then back to the spot where they keep spawning and pick up one of them. You will then hear aloy say thats one down, pick up the other 2 then run all the way back to larend and you will complete the quest.

Thank you so much, this fixed my problem. The only problem I got now is, that I've two different meta lshard values, one is always around "-214743XXXX" and the other is around "XXXX". The negative value is a signed value, not a unsigned value, but you've to search for the unsigned value and with a little bit of editing multiple addresses and selling/buying stuff, I could resolve the issue.
