i have conected 2 balistas to the tallneck i found the third one and wont conect at all is there a bug doing my head in

its a bit tough to get it connected since its range is limited and the tallneck has shields but you have unlimited shots until it connects so just keep trying different spots on the tallneck until it hooks.
just did it a few hours ago

Shoot slightly in front of the highlighted area (what metal spider considers 'shields' is actually the intended target highlight), because it takes a while for Aloy to actually shoot.

well it looked like shields to me since it was a hit but then the blue light glowed and it didnt hook and that happened on various parts of its body

thx guys still no joy the shields on the tall neck are not highlighted

try your focus on it to hi-lite the spots to hit, not sure if its required as i always scan machines first but for me first 2 shots hooked into hi-lite areas first shot . The third took 2 shots as I missed first due to long range and didnt lead.
