but, whatever. Horizon Forbidden West is a fantastic game. im loving it so far.
To me, I've noticed 3 male and two female body types. The three male types are muscular, thin, and tubby. The sky king whose name I forgot was muscular. most males tend to be very thing. There are occasional obese males such as the foreman guy.
Women, such as the boomer sisters, seem more likely to carry extra weight. I've yet to see women with defined muscle. Even Aloy seems to have relatively little muscle, even for a woman.
Another observation is the Tenakh do resemble Aztecs and other Native north and south Americans. Notice in old photographs how the natives never had beards, but did not suffer from baldness either.
Presumably, the characters in this game are Modern day Americans who descended from the American Disaspora that consisted largely of immigrants. I live in the southwest, where there is a large percentage of hispanic and native population. Black and asian are virtually non-existent. However, a place like New York or Los Angeles would be a different story.
Every living thing died and was dead for a thousand years.
Machines created new life "humans" from not the most diverse set of DNA and raised them Inside or simply killed them off until one day it was liveable outside, and a flock of teens got sent out to populate the world (america).
But yes, the diversity of DNA would've definitely been varied across the planet, with some place like the US having a bit more than others...mostly because most DNA sourced would be local to prevent the machines from destroying anything in transit or tracking to their vaults.
