Already done that, the controller vibration are set to "Off" , yet this remains.
As I said in my post, I didn't have that "issue" yesterday. It appeared today without having any update of the game, CG, controller, it just began appearing. I've checked every forums or websites I could find about that, but most of them are how to activate that function and of course all time on Playstation 5, there is no much to no ressources about how to deactivate it for a Xbox controller on PC
Sorry, just been messing around with the settings and did notice a slight vibration while pulling the string, never even noticed before. If you've not already done so, try verifying the files. If it's recently been updated, restart the PC, I'm finding that on more recent games the PC need to be restarted. Other than this, I'm afraid I cannot help you more.
Already did all that. I actually found something from an other sub, basically downloading the Xbox Accessories app and creating a whole new profile for the controller and selecting to remove Vibrations. Making sure it is selectionned as default. That's the only way working until they either make a Patch to be able to remove it or do nothing.
For now I've done the same and just turned off all vibration through the Xbox accessories app so my reply here is more of a confirmation that this is an issue.
I'm not really bothered by this too much since I really only use this controller for games like this or Monster Hunter and old school style games like Streets of Rage or TMNT: SR, everything else I'm strictly using m&k.
I went to see if other people were having the same problem and found a bunch of potential fixes, some more complex than others. The thing is, I (like yourself) absolutely hate controller vibration. I find it annoying at best, distracting at worst, and generally consider it a needless gimmick that should've died out a long time ago.
With that in mind, I came up with the perfect solution: I opened up the controller, cut the wires connected to the vibration motors, and closed it up again. It took me five minutes at most, the controller still works perfectly well otherwise, and I'll never have to feel it vibrate again.
Voila! Problem solved.
Right click game-properties-controller, change it from 'use default settings' to 'enable steam input'.
Works for me too.
That said, I still hope they fix the game native controller settings. This is a quite obvious bug.
1. Disable controller, then launch the game.
2. Navigate to gamepad settings with mouse/keyboard.
3. Then turn off triggers vibration or master vibration.
4. After that launch the game with gamepad, no more vibration.
