Which is a shame, because I'm hot off the heels of playing Outcast, which had some awkward controlled races that ran smooth as butter, once you get use to the controls.
Horizon Forbidden West, please stop trying to be Mario Kart. You suck at it.
Funny thing is I got it, upgraded it fully and don't even use it as I don't like the warrior bow.
The pathfinding is awful for the mounts - everywhere, not just the gauntlet runs - and they seem to not register as a solid object when traveling over obstacles. Worse, the controls for it are based on your orientation. If you are aiming behind you and press left, the mount moves to it's right, rather than it's left.
