Final Gauntlet Run Is Beyond Artificial
Need i say more, you can be clear of any racers and your mount will just slow down to a crawl or stop completely and this is due to the track being so short that if they did not stop you artificially you would win hands down first try, its a joke.

Gauntlet racing is clumsy & broken. Not broken in the sense that it's impossible to beat, but broken in the sense that it fails to work smoothly in a game that generally runs very well. Whether it be your mount randomly racing toward a wall, your mount randomly stopping, your mount losing all momentum when in the center of a track while not being attacked. It's just garbage.

Which is a shame, because I'm hot off the heels of playing Outcast, which had some awkward controlled races that ran smooth as butter, once you get use to the controls.

Horizon Forbidden West, please stop trying to be Mario Kart. You suck at it.

It wasn't any better on the PS5. It's a mini game within the game and I only did it for the legendary weapon at the end.

Funny thing is I got it, upgraded it fully and don't even use it as I don't like the warrior bow.

The rest of the races are fine and it does not do this but the desert one right at the end if you are winning even by a slight bit the game slows you down and halts your ram to stop you getting ahead, nothing worse than artificial difficulty being put into a game because they were too lazy to do it properly whilst making it and that is then the only way to keep it close.

PS5? LOL On the PS4, I was constantly having the issues described on the Bone White Tear gauntlet run. Oh, and falling through the ground. A lot. Or just randomly being warped back to the last campfire I used.

The pathfinding is awful for the mounts - everywhere, not just the gauntlet runs - and they seem to not register as a solid object when traveling over obstacles. Worse, the controls for it are based on your orientation. If you are aiming behind you and press left, the mount moves to it's right, rather than it's left.

Bonewhite tear in broken. if you aren't falling through the terrain, you have "mystery riders" that appear, the opp riders using shortcuts, your mount randomly stopping for no reason at all, or suddenly glitching back to the start. gauntlet runs and the melee pits are garbage
