Weird xbox controller issues

i feel like this happens with every sony pc port. First i was finding the responsiveness/deadzones really unpleasant, I managed to fix this with steams anti deazone tools. But this seems to exacerbate another problem the game has, which is that the camera speed is inconsistent. If i move the camera diectly up/down and side to side it's consistent but a little bit diagonally and it slows way down for no reason. Has anyone else had this? Has guerilla acknowledged it? I can't play anymore or I wont be able to get a refund.

How do you know it is for no reason? It is doing that because of a reason in the first place.

After 2 hours steam does not refund anymore so there ya goes. But you can always try and maby u get lucky.

Did you turn off Steam Input? The game supports the XBOX controller and Steam Input just messes that up.

You need to restart the game after turning off Steam Input. Fortunately, the keyboard still works so you can exit the game. Steam Input caused problems for me on Forbidden West but is required for Zero Dawn. Go figure ...

Yes turn off steam input and it will be miles better, it was like moving through mud for me camera just felt laggy and wrong, turned off steam input and its fine now...
