I didn't have any noticeable problems (except that sand mess), but now I'm worried, could it make the game run worse?

for me it runs a little bit better (at least Nvidia Reflect + boost now works as intended, i guess) - just need to check those superugly sand tornados (looks like port from PS 1) and sand i dont know how to call it - but looks like sand blanket
(im on Laptop - rtx3080, i7-10870H, 32ram)

Performs slightly better, but DLSS and texture loading are still severely bugged.

The new driver caused massive FPS drops for me after a couple minutes of gameplay. Downgraded to the previous one and the issue is gone.
Anyone else experienced this?

After updating the drivers, do a hard reset, as in shut down PC in the normal way then turn the power off to the PC, either by switching off the PSU or switching off at the wall. Wait until all LED's have gone off on the MB then re apply power and start up

Things seem to be getting more complex in the last few years and simple updates don't do what you would hope they do. Doing the above tends to re-align and give the updates a new start

It seems that the enabled ReBar on the new driver has caused more VRAM usage, leading to FPS drops on VRAM limited cards like 8GB cards.
