I need help with Melee Pit Thornmarsh

Pit master challenge in Thornmarsh is really a huge test of your melee combat skill. 2 minutes combat is barely enough to complete it.

Even getting to this master is a torment, 20 times I try to do the combo for the second one on the list... each time it ends with 'wrong input' when I do precisely as how the combo needs to be done, or at least as how the instructions described them to do

Combos are very time sensitive and take some practice to perform. Combo description is pretty accurate

After testing several different tactics i can take some conclusions:
- Armor is irrelevant in this challenge, so do as armor coils (Alloy will be in her standard ammunition from Horizon Zero Down)
- Valor points are depleted in the beginning of the fight (so no Valor ultimate available at the start of the fight)
- Potions or food can be used before the fight and it will help for 1 attempt.
- You can't use any tools in the fight (no berries / no potion / no traps)
- However you can use traps BEFORE the battle begins.

So assuming all above you can defeat Pit Master Tenallo if you invest in trapper skill tree and use 4 DIFFERENT traps.
For me formula of success was Elite Acid trap + Elite Blast trap + Elite Purgewater trap + Elite Vertical Shock trap.
All 4 can be bought in Thornmarsh Hunter Weapon trader.
Battle ended in 4 seconds on Ultra hard difficulty

Hold heavy melee to charge up, you can dodge while charging
Only hit him with charged heavy melee util you build up the blast
Keep doing it, remember to charge while dodging
